🔧 How to Select the Number of Keys

With the Nissan | Infiniti Key Learning Device, you can program 1 to 4 keys easily using the onboard switch system:

• All switches (SW) OFF – 1 key

• SW1 ON – 1 key

• SW2 ON – 2 keys

• SW3 ON – 3 keys

• SW4–SW8 ON – 4 keys

Note: The device prioritizes the highest switch number selected (e.g., if SW1 and SW3 are ON, 3 keys will be learned).

💡 LED Indicator Guide

1. Startup: Slow green blink x3 → hardware OK

2. Alternating green/red: device operating

3. Fast green blink: press START to turn ignition ON

4. Fast red blink: press START with a new key

5. Solid red: touch START with a new key and wait for ignition ON

6. LED off: press START to turn ignition OFF

7. Slow green blink: process finished successfully

8. Fast red blink: process finished with error

Note for UDS models (Qashqai, X-Trail, etc.):
If all required keys are already learned, use any learned key when prompted to touch START. After completing programming, you may need to cycle ignition ON/OFF a few times until the “Key not detected” message disappears. Always verify new key operation by pressing the brake and starting the engine with each key.
