⚙️ How to Use the PEUGEOT PSA Key Programmer V2

This device is built for ease of use and reliability, allowing users to program multiple keys quickly and accurately.

Step-by-Step Procedure:

  1. Select Number of Keys:
    Use the DIP switches to choose the number of keys you wish to program.
    Example: Turn ON DIP Switch 2 only if programming two keys.
    (Invalid switch combinations default to one key.)

  2. Connect the Device:
    Turn the vehicle’s ignition ON, then plug the programmer into the OBDII port.

  3. Automatic Self-Test:
    Upon connection, the device runs an internal diagnostic.

    • Red blinking LED – Hardware defect (device requires service).

  4. PIN Extraction & Validation:
    Starts automatically within 8 seconds. The LED flashes red and green during the process.
    Extraction time depends on the BSI type:

    • Siemens: 5 seconds

    • Valeo (pre-2008): 8–20 seconds

    • Valeo (post-2008): 8 seconds

    • JCI (pre-2008): 1–1.5 minutes

    • JCI (post-2008): 2–2.5 minutes

  5. Programming Keys:

    • Once PIN validation is complete, LED turns OFF → Turn IGNITION OFF.

    • After 5 seconds, LED turns GREEN → Turn IGNITION ON with the first key.

    • When the LED switches OFF, the key is successfully programmed.

    • Repeat the process for each additional key.

    • After programming the final key, the LED will blink GREEN slowly, confirming success.

  6. Error Handling:
    A fast RED blink indicates an error. Simply restart the process to ensure proper communication.
