BMW Key Programmer v.5.1—OBD-Prog Emergency Start & CAS Programmer (2005–2014)
The BMW Key Programmer v.5.1 (OBD-Prog) is a professional, standalone solution for BMW key registration, emergency start, and CAS reprogramming across a broad range of BMW models (model years 2005–2014). Built for locksmiths, mobile technicians, and workshop professionals, v.5.1 handles CAS1 → CAS3+ systems—including SOPT and the newer SOPT+ protected modes—with automatic, no-fuss operation directly through the vehicle’s OBD-II port.
Designed for reliability and speed, the OBD-Prog automates otherwise complex CAS procedures (even SOPT+ reprotection bypasses where CAS reprogramming is required), letting you get cars started and keys registered on-site without dealer access. Please note: this device is intended strictly for lawful, authorized use by professionals. Auto Turbo Decoder does not support unlawful activity.

🔧 Quick User Flow—v.5.1 Special Instructions (CAS ≥ 9.28 / ISTA 43+)
-
Connect the OBD-Prog to the vehicle OBD-II port.
-
Wait for the device to emit a TRIPLE repeating signal (self-test ready).
-
Place the key or chip into the device ring—the unit will auto-detect CAS version and begin CAS reprogramming. You will hear fast repeating tones then slower beeps. Removing the key from the ring is not required.
-
After ~7 minutes, DOUBLE tones indicate it’s time to insert the key/chip into the device slot.
-
Within ~1 minute, listen for a SINGLE repeated signal — at this point press the vehicle START/STOP to complete the registration.
-
Verify key functions (lock/unlock/start) and DTC status. Follow on-device prompts if any retry is needed.
⚠️ Important Notes & Legal Compliance
-
Authorized use only: Device sold to professionals and authorised organizations. Do not use on vehicles without explicit owner consent.
