Modes of Operation
Automatic Mode
In automatic mode, the device automatically scans the PIN code and performs key programming without a PC.

Manual Mode
In manual mode, connect the device via USB to any computer to record the PIN code into the device.
The PIN can be obtained using a VIN-based calculator or directly from the dealership.

Key Programming Procedures

Remove all keys and connect KeyProg to the OBD2 port.

After 10 seconds, one beep signals readiness—press the START button twice.

Press “Open” then “Close” on the key to confirm successful programming.
🔑 Smart Keys (After 2016) – Manual Programming

Record the PIN code using the VIN.

Open the driver’s door and plug into the OBD2 port.

After 5 seconds, two beeps sound—press and hold the START button.

When the “KEY” icon appears and three beeps sound, release the button.

Press START twice to turn the ignition ON, then unplug the device.
