The Key Learning Device V2 is a professional tool designed to program and learn Intelligent Keys for a wide range of Nissan and Infiniti models. It supports up to 4 keys per session and features clear LED indicators to guide the key learning process.

*Models with asterisk require direct connection to the internal CAN-BUS.

Key Learning Procedure:

• Key Count Selection:

  • All switches OFF – 1 key

  • SW1 ON – 1 key

  • SW2 ON – 2 keys

  • SW3 ON – 3 keys

  • SW4 to SW8 ON – 4 keys
    Note: Highest active switch is considered if multiple switches are ON.

Device LED Indicators:

1. Slow GREEN blink (3 times) – Hardware test passed

2. Alternate GREEN/RED – Device is operational

3. Fast GREEN blink – Press START (hold if needed) to turn ignition ON

4. Fast RED blink – Press START with new key logo to turn ignition ON

5. Solid RED – Touch START with new key logo until ignition turns ON

6. LED OFF – Press START to turn ignition OFF

7. Alternate GREEN/RED – Device is working

8. Slow GREEN blink – Procedure finished successfully

9. Fast RED blink – Procedure finished with ERROR

UDS Models Special Notes:

• For Qashqai, X-Trail, and similar UDS vehicles, if prompted to use a new key but all keys are already learned, use any learned key.

• After learning, it may be necessary to cycle ignition ON/OFF until “Key not detected” disappears.

• Verify each new key by pressing the brake and starting the engine.

Internal CAN-BUS Connection (Required for specific models):

• Modules & Pins:

  • USM (Under hood Switching Module) CT1: pin4 – CAN-L, pin6 – CAN-H

  • BCM (Body Control Module) DS1: pin27 – CAN-L, pin26 – CAN-H

  • HFM (Hands Free Module) S1: pin7 – CAN-L, pin6 – CAN-H

• Wire Colors: CAN-L = Pink, CAN-H = Blue

• Connection Steps:

  1. Connect male OBD to the vehicle OBD port

  2. Connect CAN H/L needle connectors to the vehicle’s CAN wires

• The device comes with a cable set including male/female OBDII extenders and needle connectors to facilitate CAN-BUS connection.
