How to Use the Renault Key Device V9
General Key/Card Programming Procedure (Most Renault Models)

Set DIP Switches
Choose the number of keys/cards to program (via switches 1–4).
Switches 9 and 10 = ALWAYS ON. -
With Ignition OFF, insert the device into the OBDII socket.
The LED will briefly turn green, then begin fast blinking, indicating the device is working. -
For Renault Megane III, Laguna III, Scenic III, Fluence, Samsung SM3
Insert virgin card into ignition.
When the LED turns off, do not remove the card until instructed. -
After 2–3 seconds, LED becomes solid green for 10 seconds.
Insert the next key/card (if any). -
When LED turns OFF, remove the current key/card.
Repeat steps for each additional card. -
When the process completes successfully, LED will blink slowly in green.

If the procedure fails, LED will blink red, indicating rejection by the vehicle.
Special Procedure – Megane IV, Espace V, Talisman, Scenic IV
