What it is
The AST v1.2 (Auto Start Toyota) is a compact, professional-grade emergency start unit that temporarily replaces the vehicle’s key-authorization (Smart/certification) module to allow engine start and secure transport when keys are lost or the authorization system fails. AST v1.2 is a temporary, non-destructive solution: it enables central locking and keyless start while connected and can be removed to restore the vehicle’s original electronic state with no trace of use.
Intended for authorized, lawful use only. Not a permanent replacement for OEM modules.

How it works (brief)

Connect AST v1.2 to the vehicle following the supplied wiring/connector guide.

The unit emulates the smart authorization module; the vehicle’s central lock will unlock, and the keyless start will become active.

Start and move the vehicle for transport or diagnostics.

When finished, remove AST v1.2 and restore original modules—the vehicle returns to its prior authorization state.
